So who am I? That’s always a question. As a photographer I’m someone who started out in film eventually went to digital and now has found my way mostly back to film. I call myself a fine art photographer, mostly because what I shoot really doesn’t fit well into the traditional boxes. I’ve been doing art as long as I can remember but also have had some formal education along the way in photography and design.
As you look around this site you will see examples of my work, I try to keep fairly current stuff up here, but it is also a window into how I see the world around me. Over the years I have studied various philosophies and one thing they have taught me, especially about art, is to embrace the imperfections. In so many ways this is what has brought me back to film, well that and film makes me shoot slower and much more about the craft of photography.
